Grecian Ball

The 2nd Grecian Ball at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, organised by the Greek Community of Melbourne on the occasion of Greece’s Independence Day and the Revolution of 1821, was held on Friday, 24th March.
Guests included distinguished politicians, media representatives and many Greek-Australian associations and organisations, including PRONIA, HACCI, Fronditha Care and Agapi.
PRONIA’s CEO Tina Douvos Stathopoulos and management enjoyed the community spirit, exchanged ideas and met new people. Famous Greek singer, Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s performance, completed the memorable evening’s celebration.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
