Multicultural Australia launches the YES campaign
PRONIA’s CEO, Ms Tina Douvos Stathopoulos, joined more than 80 multicultural and multifaith leaders to launch ECCV’s Victorian Multicultural Voices for ‘Yes’ campaign on Tuesday at the Parliament House.
Everyone agreed that the launch of the campaign is a testament to the power of our diverse communities to unite and push Australia towards a fairer, more inclusive future.
PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the ‘yes’ vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Straight islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to Parliament.
