Volunteer Celebration

We want to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers of PRONIA who make the difference in our community by keeping good company with our elderly members!
Thank you to all PRONIA volunteers – your dedication, hard work, and passion are the driving forces behind the success of the volunteering program for over 47 years. Whether you’re visiting elderly at home or in a nursing home, helping with our fundraising activities and in organising events, or just lending a helping hand, you make a world of difference to our community!
In the last 10 months, your generous time has provided close to 8,000 hours of friendly visits. A tremendous feat and congratulations to all! Your commitment doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are truly thankful for everything you do.
Here’s to our amazing volunteers – you are the heart and soul of our community!
Every year during National Volunteer Week, PRONIA hosts a celebration in order to acknowledge and celebrate its volunteers. Here are the snapshots from this year’s event.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
