World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is a global initiative observed on June 15th each year to raise awareness about the mistreatment and neglect experienced by older adults. This day aims to shed light on the various forms of abuse that elders may face, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse as well as neglect. It servers as a reminder to society to prioritise the well-being and dignity of older individuals, promoting a culture of respect and protection for our senior citizens.
PRONIA is tirelessly working towards raising awareness about elder abuse and providing support to all our valued members of society. Let’s all join forces and take steps to create a safe and more compassionate environment for older individuals, ensuring their rights and dignity are protected
